Federal battery rebates are scheduled to reduce from 1 May 2026

Government incentives can significantly reduce the cost of a home battery, but rebate rules can change. What savings you receive depends on your system capacity and when it’s installed.

At Summit + Shore, we take an advice-led approach, not a rebate-led one. We design battery systems around what genuinely works for your home first, and then apply the correct rebates available at the time of installation, so expectations are clear and there are no surprises.

Timing matters. Installations completed before the scheduled reduction may qualify for higher rebate values, which is why we factor timing into our advice and are currently booking installations ahead of the change.
