Under this program, when you install a solar power system under 100kW, you’re eligible to receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), often referred to as the “solar rebate.”

The STC scheme is designed to phase down each year as solar becomes more affordable. On the first of January each year until 2030, the rebate reduces, which means the earlier you install, the bigger your benefit.

Does the rebate come from Summit + Shore or the government?
It’s a federal government program, but we handle all the paperwork and apply the rebate upfront to reduce your out-of-pocket cost.
Can I claim both the solar and battery rebates?

When does the rebate end?
The STC rebate steps down each year and ends on 31 December 2030, so now’s the time to maximise your benefit.
